MAUI AND THE BIG ISLAND Each horse is an individual as is each hoof; and the trim is determined by the horse. I practice the methods of my mentors Pete Ramey, Jaime Jackson and other practitioners, who put the health of the horse first. I do not invade live hoof or remove parts of the hoof nature intended to be there. I try to mirror as best as I can the natural ways of self-trimming experienced by the horse in the wild. I evaluate the whole horse and its environment. I offer the knowledge I have gained in the past as a farrier and all I have learned through my barefoot studies and clinics I have attended about nutrition and booting alternatives. Working in concert with the horse and the owner, I can help you to find a better way for you and your equine friend to enjoy life together in a more natural and healthy manner.

My fees are as follows: I believe that all people who wish to go barefoot should get hoof boots. I carry a large selection and will be happy to help fit you and your horse with the right pair.
